Extracts from a collaboration between @edward_robinson_ and filmmaker @joshua_magor, titled ‘Phases’.

Focusing on the why behind the work and the rigour of the day-to-day design process, the film documents the studio in the lead-up to Continuity at Jousse Entreprise.

Board, Floor Lamp — @edward_robinson_ Presented Board, Floor Lamp — @edward_robinson_

Presented as part of Continuity, The Floor Lamp is produced from hand-lacquered board with a satin aluminium base. A tall, vertical form is designed to operate at two scales – casting a soft ambient glow within a room, or providing directed light when placed beside an armchair. A dimmable switch and aluminium bobbin for cable management maintain clarity and utility. Fabricated by French artisans, the Floor Standing Lamp forms part of the Board collection and is available in six colourways.

Dyad Stool — Edward Robinson Presented as part of Dyad Stool — Edward Robinson

Presented as part of Continuity, The Dyad Stool is manufactured using a metal spinning process in which two aluminium halves are individually formed and then rolled together to create a seamless structure. Two sizes are available: a standard version produced in polished aluminium, and a junior version finished in lacquer and available in six colourways.

Continuity — Edward Robinson Jousse Entreprise op Continuity — Edward Robinson

Jousse Entreprise opens a new chapter with Continuity, an exhibition dedicated to the work of London-based industrial designer Edward Robinson.

Bringing together three ongoing bodies of work — Board, Dyad, and Cloche — the exhibition reveals a practice defined not by singular gestures, but by sustained authorship and continuity across scale and context.

For nearly three decades, the gallery has played a pivotal role in the recognition of twentieth-century furniture and design. With Continuity, it extends this legacy toward contemporary industrial practice, marking its first presentation dedicated to Edward Robinson.

Edward Robinson (b. 1986, UK). Robinson’s practice is defined by clarity—distilling complexity into forms that endure. The studio’s work balances precision with human experience, producing objects shaped as much by use and longevity as by craft and technique.

This approach has led to projects with some of the world’s most influential brands, including USM Haller, adidas, and Dover Street Market, as well as formative roles in shaping design-led companies Athletics FTWR and Humanrace. Working across both independent and commercial contexts, Robinson’s practice moves fluidly between concept, production, and scale, maintaining a clear and recognisable authorship.
