The Dyad Stool revisits one of Edward Robinson’s earliest designs. First conceived while at university and originally produced in 2010, this second edition refines the object through material and form. Each stool is manufactured in France using a metal spinning technique whereby two aluminium halves are individually formed, then rolled together to create a seamless structure. Two sizes of Dyad Stool are available : standard, produced in polished aluminium, and junior, produced in a lacquer finish and available in one of six colourways. Each piece is produced as a limited edition available through Jousse Entreprise, Paris.

Extracts from a collaboration between @edward_robinson_ and filmmaker @joshua_magor, titled ‘Phases’.

Focusing on the why behind the work and the rigour of the day-to-day design process, the film documents the studio in the lead-up to Continuity at Jousse Entreprise.

Board, Floor Lamp — @edward_robinson_ Presented Board, Floor Lamp — @edward_robinson_

Presented as part of Continuity, The Floor Lamp is produced from hand-lacquered board with a satin aluminium base. A tall, vertical form is designed to operate at two scales – casting a soft ambient glow within a room, or providing directed light when placed beside an armchair. A dimmable switch and aluminium bobbin for cable management maintain clarity and utility. Fabricated by French artisans, the Floor Standing Lamp forms part of the Board collection and is available in six colourways.
