ANGE LECCIA | Coming and going of light | Normandie Impressioniste 2026

Hors les murs 30 May 2026 - 30 September 2026

Address : Gardens of Saint-George Abbey in Saint-Martin-de-Boscherville, France

As part of the 6th edition of Normandie Impressionniste, and on the occasion of the centenary of Claude Monet’s death, Ange Leccia presents a major solo exhibition curated by Sandra Prédine-Ballerie across the Abbaye Saint-Georges de Boscherville and its gardens.

Ange Leccia’s work explores memory, landscape, and emotions through simple yet evocative images. In the gardens of Saint-Georges de Boscherville Abbey, he unfolds a constellation of images centered on the garden as a living force. In the chapter house, a revisited version of the video installation (D’)Après Monet is presented, echoing the world of Claude Monet. At the Pavilion of Winds, screens compose a series of motifs filmed over the years, capturing the energy of life. On the forecourt, a monumental ikebana combines plants and colors in an immersive composition. The whole offers a contemplative experience where the viewer is invited to perceive the variations of nature rather than analyze forms.
