Lives and works in Paris, France

Christine Safa is a painter living and working in Paris. Of Lebanese origin, her work is punctuated by her frequent travels to Lebanon. Her paintings are translations of light; witnesses of a sweet summer-time melancholy. She obtained her master’s degree from the Ecole Nationale Des Beaux Arts de Paris (ENSBA) in 2018 and in 2016 won the Aurige Finance Prize as part of the Amis des Beaux Arts de Paris Prizes.

Her work was presented at the Brownstone Foundation, Paris during the exhibition of winners of the Amis des Beaux Arts de Paris  (2016), at the showcase of Inlassable Gallery  (Paris, 2018), and Bubenberg Gallery (Paris, 2018).
