Born in 1991 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Cecilia Granara received a BA in Fine Art with mention of Honours from Central St Martin’s College of Art and Design in 2013 and a BA in Fine Art from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux Arts in Paris. She studied with François Boisrond, Tim Eitel and James Rielly. In 2019 she won a scholarship to pursue her studies at MFA level at Hunter College. Cecilia Granara presented her collaborative performances with Bea Bonafini at Tate Modern, London, Camden Arts Centre, London, and at Guest Projects (Yinka Shonibare) London. Her solo show, Going Inside or How to Get Over Yourself  was at Fieldworks Gallery, London. Group shows include Galerie Bubenberg, Paris, Galerie Mansart, Paris, Ngoro Ngoro II at Artists Weekend 2018, Berlin. She has been nominated by Hervé Di Rosa for the 2019 Antoine Marin painting prize.
