We are pleased to announce the participation of Clarisse Hahn in the group exhibition “The Death of a Poet Makes Less Noise Than a Linden Leaf Falling” at Topographie de l’art, from February 7 to April 11, 2026, at the invitation of curator François Michaud.
The exhibition “The Death of a Poet Makes Less Noise Than a Linden Leaf Falling” brings together 18 artists who explore the poetry of everyday life, improvising with simple materials and rejecting the spectacular.
Conceived as a construction game at Topographie de l’art, the exhibition presents individual works that often reflect “play and entertainment” with a certain gravity. Several of them engage with the notion of paradox: both playful and meaningful.
The phrase by Mathieu Yon—philosopher, poet, and market gardener—chosen as the title of the project, evokes both the fragility of the artist and the strength of their voice in our society.
Lego sculptures, thread-based works, videos, photographs, paintings, and drawings interact with one another like hopping across the squares of a hopscotch game, or like responding to one another in an exquisite corpse.
