Thus through a sequence of superimpositions and dissolves, the movie overlays the <em>limpia <\/em>(purification) of a 19th Century esoteric cane transmitted by the actor Jean-Pierre Le\u0301aud to the <em>curandero<\/em> (shaman) Jose\u0301 Levis Picon through Louidgi Beltrame.
