But her works are well-remo\u00adved from binary and head-on confron\u00adta\u00adtions, and play, on the contrary, with subtle varia\u00adtions and tiny move\u00adments which are at times barely per\u00adcep\u00adti\u00adble, and lend her oeuvre its rich unu\u00adsual\u00adness.<\/p>\n
Whether she is fil\u00adming those tran\u00adsi\u00adtory spaces, on the outs\u00adkirts of cities, where mother nature seems to have reclai\u00admed her rights, whe\u00adther she is inte\u00adres\u00adted in impres\u00adsive forms of archi\u00adtec\u00adture spark\u00adling in the night, or clo\u00adsely obser\u00adving natu\u00adral and scien\u00adti\u00adfic phe\u00adno\u00admena, Anne-Charlotte Finel always mana\u00adges to trans\u00adcend the images she cat\u00adches. Far from any remote and scien\u00adti\u00adfic obser\u00adva\u00adtion, the unu\u00adsual\u00adness of her approach resi\u00addes in the poetry with which she infu\u00adses her works. This per\u00adma\u00adnent shift, this infi\u00adni\u00adte\u00adsi\u00admal alte\u00adra\u00adtion of our view\u00adpoints, and this way of revea\u00adling the inex\u00adpres\u00adsi\u00adble cons\u00adti\u00adtute the whole inte\u00adrest of her work. Starting from see\u00admin\u00adgly com\u00admon\u00adplace situa\u00adtions, she mana\u00adges to \u201cem\u00adbark\u201d us in her cre\u00adpus\u00adcu\u00adlar world, on the edge of places and phe\u00adno\u00admena which cannot be imme\u00addia\u00adtely gras\u00adped, and require time to unders\u00adtand what we are being shown. She recently enjoyed a resi\u00addency on the island of Mol\u00e8ne, where she confron\u00adted the marine eco\u00adsys\u00adtem pecu\u00adliar to this island off the coast of Finistere.<\/p>\n
