We are pleased to announce that Ange Leccia will be participating in the 10th edition of the Image Vevey Biennial in Switzerland. On this occasion, the artist will present the video work Impossible \u00e9toile<\/em> at the Sainte-Claire Church in Vevey, from September 5 to 27, 2026.<\/p>\n

With Impossible \u00c9toile<\/em>, Ange Leccia revisits a dance scene from Saturday Night Fever (1977). Through cropping, slow motion, and repetition, Leccia transforms Tony Manero\u2019s movements into a whirlwind of sensuality. In place of the Bee Gees\u2019 soundtrack, he substitutes Eartha Kitt\u2019s track \u00ab Where Is My Man \u00bb, creating a new narrative. The installation revives a symbol of popular culture to reveal the emotional power of the image. Leccia celebrates cinema, music, and dance\u2014universal languages that bring people together.<\/p>\n
