We are delighted to announce that the artist Victoire Inchausp\u00e9 in the 17th Lyon Biennial, on the invitation of Alexia Fabre, from 17 September 2024 to 5 January 2025.<\/p>\n
Inspired by the artist\u2019s early memories of her family home, Nothing\/Everything to remember<\/em> is as much about abstract ideas as concrete situations \u2014 crossing a threshold, finding shelter, feeling welcome. Set in disused railway repair workshops, Victoire Inchausp\u00e9\u2019s house is intended as a protective space for the vulnerable and the suffering. Reminiscent of ancient funeral rites and practices, the boat evokes a personal and private experience of loss. Reduced to a few withered flowers, the living being has withdrawn from the scene and, through their absence, evokes that which is no more. At the wate, sunflowers will soon bloom and stars will twinkle because, by embarking on a journey to another world, Nothing\/Everything to remember<\/em> beckons us to a form of rebirth.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":22725,"menu_order":0,"template":"","class_list":["post-22732","expositions","type-expositions","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"yoast_head":"\n
